We held our official launch event last week at Old Trafford, Manchester, where we introduced the Insync family of bikes. Keep reading for a rundown of the bikes launched!
Crafted for everyone
The 75 bikes launched are the first designed from our Hero Cycles Global Design Centre in Manchester which opened in 2017. The range includes our all terrain bikes with Riddick, women’s stylish bikes with Ryedale, children’s bikes with Denovo and finally restoring a classic with the brand new Viking range. Our goal with these ranges has been to craft bikes that anyone can pick up and enjoy – keen cyclists with years of experience looking for adventure or those who are completely new to the idea of cycling and just want to explore or keep active.
The new Riddick range launched on Thursday, is all about outdoors and adventure, for bike enthusiasts and casual riders alike. The range, designed to be at home on the mountain, starts with the RD200 with its lightweight alloy frame and 21 speed flexibility and extends to the RD900. The RD900 has been tried and tested by some top level riders and not only withstood their tests but passed with flying colours.
Each model within the Riddick range boasts the high end specification you might expect from a premium brand with high-quality components equipped throughout each model. The full range is now available here.
With the newly launched Ryedale range, we have crafted a range for women riders, celebrating style and uniqueness. The Ryedale range delivers a relaxed riding position, lightweight components and superb build quality with a peerless attention to detail. Simple but practical, Ryedale bikes include all the features you need for riding around town and cruising down country lanes.
The unique painting process used, reflects the attention to detail with its metallic and pearlized finish incorporated with all models. With models including the Hayleigh in Blueberry and the Harriet in Latte, there is sure to be a bike suited to your style.
And now for the children’s bikes! Crafting the Denovo range has been a really special project for us, as we truly believe in kids being active and having fun outside. Designed with age in mind, we have designed the whole range with lightweight, alloy frames and relaxed riding positions to ensure children can have fun for longer. Our goal has been to create children’s bikes so they perform like their grown-up counterparts.
The bikes have been crafted with short-reach brake levers with reach adjustability, anti-slip pedals, child specific geometry to ensure good posture while riding and all terrain tyres.
Finally, we launched the Viking range. Viking is not a new brand to the market – it’s a brand with over 100 years of history. Founded in Britain in 1908, Viking grew from a bicycle repair shop into a manufacturer and sponsor of a successful racing team.
Now, with the all new Viking range, we have crafted bikes to suit a contemporary lifestyle without forgetting about its heritage. With the new Viking range, we are promoting urban cycling as a positive way to commute, spend time with family and friends and staying active.
